Extended Deadline: Call for Nominations to the SAA Governing Board and Executive Council
The Society for AIDS in Africa (SAA) is pleased to announce an extension of the nomination deadline for the 2026–2029 Governing Board and 2025 Executive Council elections. The new deadline is 21st July 2025.
This extension provides additional time for eligible members and institutions to submit nominations and contribute to the strategic leadership of HIV/AIDS, STIs, and health system strengthening efforts across Africa.
Why Nominate?
Serving on the SAA Governing Board is an opportunity to influence key policy and programmatic decisions that impact the region’s health landscape. As a Pan-African body and custodian of the International Conference on AIDS and STIs in Africa (ICASA), SAA seeks qualified leaders who reflect the diversity and expertise of the continent.
