SAA Council election eligibility
To contest or be nominated for a position on the SAA Administrative Council, candidates must meet the following criteria.
English
- Educated to second-degree level in Human / Medical / Behavioural or Social sciences (in a relevant field).
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience in HIV/AIDS, STIs, Sexual & Reproductive Health, or related issues.
- A minimum of 5 publications in a relevant field of work.
- Able to provide names and contacts of 3 referees with a working relationship to the candidate.
- Attendance at a minimum of 3 ICASAs, evidenced by certificates of participation.
- SAA membership fees paid for at least 3 consecutive years.
Français
- Avoir un niveau universitaire de 3ᵉ cycle en science sociale / médecine.
- Avoir un minimum de cinq années d’expérience en santé reproductive, VIH/SIDA, MST ou domaine relatif.
- Avoir au moins cinq (5) publications à son actif.
- Fournir au moins trois références relatives aux fonctions occupées.
- Avoir participé à au moins 3 conférences ICASA/SISMA, justifiées par les attestations de participation.
- S’acquitter de sa cotisation de membre sur 3 années consécutives.
